Although still in a concept form but the next-gen Maxima seems very worth the wait, especially its design is much different than the previous model, thanks to a full redesign.

The Yokohama-based automaker gave so many changes to the Maxima sedan, which is reflected in the Sport Sedan Concept. Not only design which got a big overhaul, but the engine also receives a number of significant revisions in order to improve its performance and fuel efficiency.

However, if you ask about the Nismo version, of course, Nissan will bring it to you. The 2016 Nissan Maxima Nismo is currently under development and will certainly be released shortly after the regular models hitting U.S. dealer floors in the near future.

Engine Specifications, Horsepower and Torque

Speaking about powertrain options, the new Maxima sedan will reportedly be powered by a newly-developed 3.5-liter V6 engine which exclusively connected to a sport-tuned Xtronic CVT gearbox.
